Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a nationally recognised care provider who are looking to recruit an experienced Adult Social Care Manager to oversee supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care professional to join an organisation recognised for its people-focused culture, earning Investors in People Platinum accreditation in 2025.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading teams, driving service quality, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional person-centred care within a supportive and progressive environment. Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a Service Manager or leadership role in Health & Social Care
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and person-centred care practices
  • Experience leading teams within supported living, residential or complex care environments
  • Compassionate and proactive approach with a passion for supporting vulnerable adults
  • Ability to manage challenging situations positively and professionally

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage supported living services, ensuring safe and person-centred care delivery
  • Manage, mentor and develop Support Workers and wider care teams
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, CQC standards and legislative requirements
  • Develop support plans, risk assessments and care packages tailored to individual needs
  • Build relationships with families, external professionals and stakeholders
  • Monitor service performance, staffing levels and operational KPIs
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing staff development initiatives
