We are delighted to be working with a well-established and expanding engineering company based near Kirkby in Ashfield, who are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Order and Quotation Specialist. This opportunity sits within a dynamic and growing team and will suit an enthusiastic individual who enjoys combining technical understanding with customer engagement.
The role involves managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and working closely with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements. In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of c£30,000, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays and the opportunity to develop within a supportive and technically advanced engineering environment.
Skills & Experience- Previous experience in providing quotations in a similar role
- Experience working within the engineering sector advantageous
- Ability to analyse previous quotations and adapt pricing for new enquiries
- Personable, presentable, and articulate with strong communication skills
- Good administration, organisation, and time-management skills
- Speaking with potential clients to understand project requirements and specifications
- Preparing accurate quotations and costings from initial enquiries, reviewing previous quotations and adjusting pricing where required
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain prices and other relevant costing information
- Explaining product options and technical details clearly to customers
- Working closely with the technical and design teams to ensure the most suitable solutions are provided
- Attending customer sites or facilities when required to discuss projects and requirements
