We are delighted to be working with a well-established and innovative manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in Leicester, who are seeking a skilled Machine Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys a varied role combining machine build, testing, commissioning, and international travel. The position will involve supporting the full lifecycle of bespoke machinery projects, from factory testing through to customer installation and training.

Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within installation, commissioning, or machine build engineering
- Strong mechanical assembly and fault-finding experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
- Confident communicator with customer-facing experience
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Flexible approach to UK and international travel
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out QA checks on machinery, sub-assemblies, and production lines
- Testing and commissioning bespoke machinery to ensure performance meets specification
- Supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with customers
- Preparing machines for shipping, including decommissioning and packing support
- Installing and commissioning machinery at customer sites across the UK and internationally
- Conducting on-site fault finding, machine setup, and final integration
- Training customer personnel on machine operation and maintenance
- Providing after-sales and warranty support when required
- Working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
