Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor for our southern office. We are looking for someone with NRSWA and experience with tarmacking. Based at our head office in Staines on a full-time basis, you will report directly to the MD. Previous experience in a similar managerial role and a good knowledge of the drainage/construction industry is essential.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be working on-site directly with groundworkers and engineers as well as liaising with customers and office staff.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Managing works.
- Creating and managing team schedules.
- Supervising workers and subcontractors.
- Assisting with work planning.
- Managing orders and the delivery of construction materials.
- Organising staff work schedules.
- Checking if work is being carried out safely.
- Completing records for site reports.
- Attending site management meetings.
- Training of new groundworkers.
- Checking RAMS.
To be successful as a Site Supervisor, you should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations. Ultimately, an outstanding Site Supervisor should be able to interpret building plans as well as demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
