Are you a passionate UI Developer who enjoys creating intuitive, responsive user interfaces for complex software applications?
Our client is an innovative and fast-growing technology company developing a market-leading software platform used by organisations across multiple industries. As the business continues to expand, they're looking for an experienced UI Developer to play a key role in shaping the user experience of their flagship product.
This isn't a typical front-end web development role. You'll be working on a sophisticated software platform where usability, performance and user experience are critical. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product owners and stakeholders to transform business requirements into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
The Role
As a UI Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular and JavaScript, while helping improve the overall user experience across a complex enterprise application.
You'll work closely with users and internal stakeholders to understand how the software is used, identify opportunities for improvement and help deliver features that make a genuine difference to the customer experience.
Skills & Experience Required
We're looking for someone with strong commercial experience in:
Angular
JavaScript (ES6+)
HTML5
CSS3 / SCSS
Responsive UI development
Building reusable front-end components
RESTful API integration
Cross-browser compatibility and performance optimisation
We're Particularly Interested In People Who...
Have experience working on large, complex software applications rather than simple websites.
Can translate business requirements into intuitive, user-focused interfaces.
Enjoy working closely with users to understand workflows and solve real business problems.
Have a strong appreciation of usability, accessibility and user experience.
Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Can bridge the gap between technical teams and business users.
Have the mindset of a Business Analyst , asking the right questions and challenging requirements to achieve the best outcome.
Take pride in writing clean, maintainable, well-structured code.
If you're an experienced UI Developer who combines outstanding front-end technical skills with a genuine interest in understanding how users interact with software, we'd love to hear from you.

How to prepare for a job interview at Exposed Solutions
✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills
For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.
✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Exposed Solutions uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.
✨Showcase Your Projects
Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.
✨Prepare for Behavioural Questions
While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
