The Opportunity:
They are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with deep experience in computer vision to join a high-performance team. You will help push the boundaries of visual defect detection and predictive automation, solving real-world challenges.
You will work on:
- Training and deploying CV models for damage detection
- Improving classification, segmentation, and bounding box performance at scale
- Leveraging expert-labelled datasets to build high-accuracy visual models
- Building and optimising workflows in Azure Machine Learning (AML) for both dev and prod
- Developing and executing best practices for experimentation enabling the team to make data-informed decisions
- Contributing to the end-to-end AI pipeline from data ingestion to production deployment
We are looking for:
- 4+ years in applied data science with a proven record of delivering value
- Hands-on experience with Azure, YOLO, and OpenCV
- Proven track record training custom image models on real-world datasets
- Experience deploying to Azure ML production pipelines
- Experience with LLMs in production settings
- Strong understanding of model evaluation, data quality, and performance tuning
Bonus:
- Experience in insurance, housing, construction, or related sectors
