Enjoy working for a fast-paced company specialising in the exciting UK holiday letting sector. You will be responsible for helping new and existing customers find the best holiday let mortgage solution to help them complete on their dream holiday let. Owning each client case from first contact through to completion, this job gives you the opportunity to build strong relationships, have ownership of interesting cases while truly making a difference in a small company environment.

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey. Easy walk into the town centre and free parking available.

Salary: OTE of Β£50,000+ with a basic salary of Β£33,000 pa. We operate an uncapped monthly "cash-banked" style commission scheme.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing initial customer assessments received via our website, guiding early-stage clients through their property choices and working proactively with our lenders to pre-clear working solutions.
  • Guiding the clients through our online, self-service Fact Find process and sourcing the very best mortgage solution to match their often unique situation.
  • Producing illustrations and sourcing documents and then delivering expert holiday let mortgage advice, helping clients achieve their holiday letting goals.
  • Using our system to gather and verify all key income, identification, deposit and compliance documentation for each case, using your keen eye for detail to ensure every case is watertight.
  • Submitting applications directly to lenders and then managing cases through the valuation stage to offer and then ultimately to completion with a 5-star customer review!

About you:

  • Intelligent, naturally comfortable with figures, with the ability to strip down a complex case into simple parts and then find the right mortgage solution.
  • Enjoys working in an energetic environment and loves the thrill of submitting new applications and getting customers their prized mortgage offers.
  • Outstanding customer management and communication skills, including emails.
  • Tenacious, resilient and driven.
  • Organised and able to proactively manage a large pipeline of cases in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Your background:

  • Good GCSE grades with A's and B's, and ideally good A level grades.
  • CeMAP qualified with at least 3 years of experience – must be CAS approved.
  • Whole of market mortgage experience, ideally with examples of arranging buy to let and holiday let mortgages.
  • Fully versed with modern compliance requirements and has an excellent track record of keeping cases accurate and fully filed with no penalties.
