Your new role
- Be part of a brand-new data centre build – get involved from day one, not just BAU operations
- Hands-on with critical infrastructure - install, patch, configure, and troubleshoot servers, switches, firewalls, storage, and PDUs in customer and internal environments
- Keep systems running 24/7 - manage LAN connectivity, structured cabling, power distribution, and resolve hardware faults in line with SLAs
- Own operational accuracy - maintain DCIM data, perform audits, track space, power, and cabling capacity, and support expansion planning
- Drive process and collaboration - work with teams, vendors, and managers to improve procedures, support change control, and uphold ISO/ITIL standards
What you’ll need to succeed
- You must be able to pass security checks for this job, including SC and BPSS clearance
- Previous and demonstrable experience in working in a Managed Hosting/Public and or Private Cloud Enterprise Data Centre Environment
- Familiar with IT Hardware Concepts (RAID, SAN, x86 architecture, SCSI, FC, ethernet, iLO)
- Full UK Driving License and personal car is essential for this position
