Your new role:
- Working in a Data Centre environment, providing customer support ensuring Service Levels are maintained and the ticketing system is fully up to date.
- Installation of server, network and storage hardware.
- Performing cabling/patching duties of both copper and fibre.
- Remote hands duties such as power cycling equipment, replacing failed hardware components, re-seating networking cards, testing cabling.
- Hours: 24/7 shift, 4 on 4 off (2 days 7am-7pm, then 2 nights 7pm-7am, then 4 days off).
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Prior hands-on technical/IT/engineering experience.
- Experience working with copper and fibre cabling.
- You must be able to pass security checks for this job, including SC and BPSS clearance.
- Full UK Driving License and your own personal car is essential for this position.
