Opportunity
We are seeking an Ecotoxicologist to join our Chemical Regulation and Food Safety Practice in multiple offices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental risk assessments for plant protection products per EU Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009.
- Provide expert advice to clients on ecotoxicology and environmental risk issues.
- Synthesise and interpret study reports and literature, drawing sound scientific and regulatory conclusions.
- Perform data gap analysis and develop testing strategies and monitoring ecotoxicology studies.
- Communicate recommendations to multidisciplinary project teams, delivering high‑level strategic advice and high‑quality outputs.
Skills & Qualifications
- MSc. degree or equivalent in biology, environmental science, or related discipline.
- Experience completing environmental risk assessments under EU plant protection product legislation (Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong team‑working, judgement, and decision‑making ability.
- Good numeracy skills.
