Explorers at Trefonen is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and professional nursery team. The role involves working as a key person to provide high-quality education and care for young children in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
- Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing; observe, assess, and record children’s progress; maintain accurate records; and contribute to online learning journals.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues; promote good behaviour and independence; and meet children’s emotional, social, and physical needs.
Qualifications and requirements
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality is essential.
- Enhanced DBS check and paediatric first aid certificate are required.
