Responsibilities
- Participate in the team’s initiatives to deliver Advisory projects and solutions, leveraging Cirium’s data and analytics, across Cirium’s broad customer base in the aircraft finance and leasing, aerospace, airline and airport markets.
- Work with experienced colleagues to deliver a variety of advisory projects to clients in the aviation industry, ranging from market analysis, forecasting, route analysis, and strategic advice projects in all sectors of the market, using the extensive internal Cirium databases, external data, your own aviation knowledge and experience as well as primary research in the industry.
- Advise clients on strategic projects such as strategy development, transformational change, organisational restructuring and improving the effectiveness of specific functions (e. g., supply‑chain management, production, risk management) based on a solid understanding of client businesses, industries, regulatory environments and markets.
You will be expected to conduct comprehensive research and analysis on global aviation trends, market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes and evaluate the economic, environmental, and geopolitical factors impacting the aviation industry at the international level.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.
There will also be an opportunity to learn about our aviation asset valuation practice and potentially be involved with our award‑winning team’s delivery to the market.
You will contribute to the delivery of some of the products the team is responsible for, such as the Cirium Fleet Forecast, asset Market Commentaries and other exciting new initiatives.
- Manage the flow of and deliver projects, you will create industry‑leading content across multiple platforms, including thought‑leadership articles, Viewpoint magazine, Linked In, as well as presenting at Cirium webinars and events, and other key industry conferences.
- Exhibit the Cirium Values: Aim High, Step Up, Speak Out, Team up and Give Back in all parts of your role.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (eg Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration or Economics) with a Master’s degree preferred.
- Intermediate, or higher. Experience researching, manipulating and analysing large datasets and presenting to audiences of different sizes is essential.
- Professional experience in and knowledge of the aviation industry or a deep understanding of it is essential, although experience in the financial services sectors and / or consultancy will also be an advantage.
- Candidates should have experience with data‑analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau and be highly numerate and literate to be able to explain complex analysis and conclusions to clients.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of a second language is an advantage but not required.
