Responsibilities
- Tutor small groups with a 1:6 ratio, teaching children aged 4‑16 covering the national curriculum, the 11+ entrance exam and GCSE content.
- Physically attend the assigned centre.
- Build long‑term relationships, ensuring consistency and stability for the children.
- Commit to at least 6 hours a week over two different days, with start times between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm on weekdays.
- Have a grade 5 or above in Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent predicted grades within 3 months).
Qualifications
- Age 16 or over and right to work in the UK.
- Proficient in teaching the national curriculum and exam preparation.
- Strong communication and relational skills.
About Explore Learning
Barking, UK. Pay ranges from £8.00 / hr to £12.25 / hr depending on age group. An additional £0.50 per hour is added if working inside the M25. All training and inductions are paid.
