Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 p.a. + bonus

About the role

You will join our commercial team to help ensure we operate the right trips, at the right price, with the right number of customers, so that our adventures are not only exceptional experiences but also commercially sustainable. By actively supporting yield, capacity and pricing decisions, you will directly influence which trips operate, how full they run and how profitable they are. Our commercial insight helps balance customer experience, value operational delivery and financial performance enabling Explore to invest in better experiences, responsible tourism and future growth.

  • Support the Yield Manager with day to day yield and capacity management activities.
  • Assist with pricing updates across systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Update tour pricing, supplements and discounts in line with the commercial strategy.
  • Assist in setting up promotions, including promo codes, terms and conditions and system setup.
  • Monitor promotional performance and pricing activity, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes.
  • Assisting in the brochure pricing process including providing data and processing pricing.
  • Help scenario test pricing or capacity changes and new ideas to understand potential commercial impact.
  • Own the accuracy of pricing, yield and promotional data inputs.
  • Carry out regular data cleansing, validation and reconciliation across various systems.
  • Prepare and distribute regular operational and commercial reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Action insights on pricing, promotions, margin performance, and competitor activity and drive informed decisions and actionable outcomes.
  • Use Power BI to develop and maintain pricing, yield and performance dashboards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth, improve profitability and enhance customer value.

Am I the right person?

  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to use VLOOKUP and INDEX functions.
  • Experience of analysing trends in pricing, promotions, margin and competitor activity using Excel spreadsheets and Power BI dashboards.
  • Previous experience of working in a revenue or yield role is essential.
  • Experience of presenting data to stakeholders and making recommendations to them.
  • Experience of evolving pricing strategies based on market trends, demand patterns, customer behaviour and competitor pricing.
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in business or finance is desirable.
  • Like working in a fast paced, trading led environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • This role is ideal for someone who is commercially curious, confident with data and motivated by business performance, not just reporting.
