Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored lessons using Compass, facilitating learning through questioning, scaffolding, and stretching.
  • Build meaningful relationships with a 1:16 learner ratio to create a safe, inspiring environment.
  • Support students aged 4–16 across the national curriculum, including 11+ entrance exams and GCSE preparation, celebrating milestones and successes.
  • Act as coach and mentor, not just instructor, supporting each learner’s progress with care and purpose.

Qualifications

  • Confident leading sessions with small groups (16 students) and inspiring children to engage in their learning.
  • Comfortable supporting children aged 4–16 across the national curriculum, including 11+ entrance exams and GCSE content.
  • Committed to building long‑term relationships, providing consistency and stability that helps children thrive.

Location

This is an on‑site role; you will be based at our Whiteley centre.

Contract

This is a permanent, part‑time role with a minimum of 6 hours a week across at least two weekdays.

Available shift start times:

  • 3:30 – 4 pm on Tuesday
  • 3:30 – 4 pm on Wednesday
  • 3:30 – 4 pm on Thursday
  • 3:30 – 4 pm on Friday
  • Morning/afternoon on Saturday
