In some exciting news, we will be launching a new Explore Learning centre in Slough! Inspire a team. Grow a centre. Change children’s lives. At Explore Learning, we’re on a mission to help every child reach their potential. We’re an award-winning tuition provider with professional tutors, smart learning tools & over 20 years running successful centres across the UK. We’re looking for an inspiring and proactive supervisor to help us launch our new centre in Slough, and support the rapid growth and day-to-day running of this new centre.

You’ll work closely with the Centre Manager to lead a team of Tutors and grow your centre through new member acquisition and by delivering an exceptional service for families. Launching our new Slough centre will provide a platform for our new team to really roll up their sleeves and start from scratch with success plans – you’ll set the standard for what families in the local community can expect from the service, and invest a lot of time in community outreach, face to face sales and brand building; ensuring people know who we are, what we can do and why we’re the best option for them.

The Role

  • Driving membership growth through community engagement, local partnerships, and marketing events
  • Maximising profitability through debt and revenue management and optimising staff efficiency
  • Delivering excellent family and member experiences from first enquiry through to long-term progress
  • Managing day-to-day operations to ensure the centre runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Leading, coaching and developing your Tutor team to deliver outstanding learning experiences for members
  • Championing safeguarding by prioritising the safety and wellbeing of every child in your care

A Day in the Life

  • You’ll balance hands-on educational leadership with operational excellence.
  • You’ll role model excellent tutoring and coach your team, supporting your members to achieve real progress in maths and English while unlocking a love of learning.
  • You’ll monitor and celebrate member progress, holding meaningful conversations with families about achievements and next steps.
  • You’ll build your centre’s reputation through local brand presence, community engagement and sales activation.
  • You’ll host trial sessions, manage enquiries and new member experience, making sure every family feels welcome and supported.

Logistics

  • Location: You will be based at our Explore Learning Slough centre full-time.
  • Start date: June
  • Starting salary: £27,000 PA salary depending on experience.
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent contract
  • Working Hours: a typical week*: Tuesday 11am-8pm, Wednesday 11am-8pm, Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm
