- Building meaningful relationships: With a 1:6 ratio you’ll get to know each child and create a safe, inspiring environment where they can take risks and develop a lifelong love of learning.
- Driving academic progress: Support members as they work through the national curriculum, entrance exams, and GCSE preparation, celebrating milestones and successes along the way.
We’re looking for people who:
- Are confident leading sessions with small groups (1:6), always putting children’s safety and wellbeing first.
- Feel comfortable supporting children aged 4–16 across the national curriculum, including 11+ entrance exams and GCSE content.
- Are committed to building meaningful, long‑term relationships, providing the consistency and stability that helps children thrive.
- Have achieved a grade 5 or above in Maths & English Language at GCSE level or equivalent. (We accept predicted GCSE grades if you will be receiving your results within the next 3 months.)
Why Join Explore Learning?
- Make a real impact: Leave every session knowing you’ve helped children grow in confidence, develop key skills, and build a love of learning that lasts.
- Focus on what matters: With lessons and materials already prepared in Compass, you can focus on tutoring and nurturing your members, rather than planning resources.
