Remote: 100% remote, occasional meet up in London (Must be open to this)
Currently looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join a Blockchain Startup. This will be a long term engagement and keen on speaking to any Rust Specialists that want to make an impact to the industry!
Responsibilities
Design and implement low-latency, high-performance services using Rust .
Build scalable systems capable of handling large data and traffic volumes with minimal latency.
Work on solutions for market-making or proprietary trading.
Optimize centralized exchange orderflow, matching, and execution processes using orderbook data.
Develop competitive strategies for decentralized exchanges and AMMs.
Deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes while ensuring observability and reliability.
Essential Skills and Experience
Extensive experience with Rust, particularly for building low-latency, highly parallelized systems.
Proven ability to create scalable systems handling large data and traffic volumes.
Background in market-making or proprietary trading environments.
Strong understanding of orderbook data and centralized exchange mechanisms.
Knowledge of decentralized exchanges and AMM competitive strategies.
Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
A strong track record of delivering reliable, observable systems.
Desirable Skills
Experience with EVM (or SVM) smart contract development.
Python experience for scripting or building web services.
Background in building trading bots or working with quants to deliver algorithms.
Expertise in Linux kernel optimizations for server performance.
