A fast-growing, regulated fintech firm operating at the forefront of digital asset infrastructure is looking for an IT Support Specialist to take ownership of its internal IT operations. This contract role sits within a high-performance, security-conscious environment and supports a mix of Mac and Windows users across the business. You will play a key part in driving modernisation and ensuring smooth, compliant IT delivery in a fast-paced, innovation-driven company.
Location: Central London (Onsite)
Term: Contract - Outside IR35
Rate: depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive 1st and 2nd line IT support across Mac and Windows environments
- Manage end-user devices, hardware, and software, ensuring up-to-date licensing and compliance
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, networking issues, and internal SaaS platforms
- Take ownership of internal IT projects, delivering them end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Contribute to automation and efficiency improvements using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures and assist with frameworks like ISO 27001 or SOC2
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to streamline IT processes and support
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of IT support experience, ideally in a fast-paced or regulated environment
- Comfortable supporting both Mac and Windows operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks
- Experience managing Microsoft 365, cloud apps, and endpoint tools
- Solid project management skills with a track record of delivering IT initiatives independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to translate technical info clearly
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem solving and continuous improvement
- Self-starter with the initiative and confidence to work unsupervised and take responsibility
- Professional, energetic, and confident in building relationships across all levels of the business
