I am currently working with an early-stage healthcare technology startup dedicated to enhancing patient care through innovative solutions. Their mission is to seamlessly integrate technology into healthcare practices, improving efficiency and patient outcomes.

Role Overview: As a Founding Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product's direction and significantly impacting the future of healthcare technology. You will collaborate closely with the founding team to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions, ensuring our platform meets the evolving needs of users, caregivers, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Enhance our core software (app/web platform) to meet the evolving needs of users, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
  • Collaboration: Align technical development with the broader business vision and user needs alongside the founding team.
  • Hands-on Development: Write high-quality, scalable code, contributing across the full stack.
  • Tech Strategy Definition: Establish the platform's architecture, selecting the right tools for development, deployment, and scaling.
  • User-Centric Design: Design for accessibility and ease of use, ensuring an intuitive experience for users with diverse needs.
  • Compliance and Security: Uphold industry standards, including data protection regulations, ensuring secure handling of data.
  • Scalability: Build a resilient platform that can scale with our user base and adapt to shifting healthcare requirements.
  • Team Development: As we grow, help recruit and lead a talented tech team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in software development, preferably deploying solutions at scale.
