We’re looking for a Contract Enterprise Architect to help shape and assure critical solutions that span organisational boundaries, enabling secure and scalable integrations across the enterprise. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and enjoys balancing strategic vision with technical delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing secure, scalable B2B data integration solutions using a mix of modern and legacy technologies.
  • Capturing architectural requirements and defining reference architectures and integration landscapes.
  • Developing transition states and transformation roadmaps to support long-term business change.
  • Evaluating solution trade-offs and presenting HLDs through governance processes.
  • Leading the formulation of architecture building blocks aligned with enterprise capabilities.
  • Working with tools and technologies like iPaaS (e.g., MuleSoft), API gateways, HSMs, and digital certificates.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in secure B2B integrations across organisational boundaries.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns and technologies (e.g., APIs, iPaaS, EAI).
  • Knowledge of security technologies (e.g., encryption, digital certs, HSMs).
  • Experience capturing NFRs (scalability, throughput, availability, reconciliation, etc.).
  • Proven ability to develop architecture roadmaps and transition states.
  • Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders and defend architectural decisions.

Bonus points for:

  • Familiarity with EA frameworks like TOGAF.
  • Experience with Sparx EA, ArchiMate, or UML.
  • Track record in producing HLDs and progressing them through technical design authorities.

Contract Details:

  • Start: ASAP
  • Length: Initial 6 months (likely extension)
  • IR35: Inside IR35
  • Location: 2 days per week in London (Hybrid)
