We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to focus on building scalable, reliable, and highly automated infrastructure. In this role, you will be a key collaborator with our development teams, ensuring our system architecture meets the highest standards of security and performance while maintaining a strict "no manual intervention" philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Collaboration: Partner with development teams on system architecture and application decisions to ensure long term scalability and reliability.
- Automation & Tooling: Develop custom tooling to boost engineer productivity and eliminate manual intervention within the platform.
- CI/CD Excellence: Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (GHA) and ArgoCD.
- Cloud Cost Optimisation: Design and execute cost saving strategies to optimise AWS expenditure without compromising performance.
- Security & Compliance: Perform regular reviews of infrastructure security configurations to ensure best practices and plan remediation for emerging threats.
- Observability: Manage and enhance platform monitoring and observability using Grafana Cloud.
- Environment Management: Deploy and maintain rigorous test environments to validate all infrastructure changes and configurations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in AWS Cloud Engineering and system architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Hands on experience with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for deployment.
- Expertise in observability tools, specifically Grafana Cloud.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and threat remediation.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast paced development environment.
