Platform Engineer | Hybrid in Edinburgh | Full-time

I’m working with a leading Legal Tech firm who are looking for a Platform Engineer to join their Infrastructure Engineering team in central Edinburgh.

You’ll play a key role in shaping, maintaining, and scaling their cloud infrastructure, building automation and tooling to empower developers, and helping drive a “build it, run it” culture across the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborate with development teams on architecture, scalability, and security.
  • Build automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
  • Manage infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Improve observability and monitoring with Grafana Cloud.
  • Implement cost and performance optimisations.
  • Champion best practices around infrastructure security.

What they’re looking for

  • Strong experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes.
  • Background in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Hands-on with Terraform, Docker, or Helm.
  • Familiar with tools like ArgoCD, Crossplane, Karpenter, or Kyverno.
  • Confident working in Linux environments with strong scripting skills.

Hybrid – 2 days per week in Edinburgh
