Software & Data Engineer – UK-Based – Permanent

We’re working with a well-funded startup building a smart, AI-driven platform.

They\’re scaling fast and need a versatile Software & Data Engineer to help build and optimise core systems from the ground up.

This is a full-time remote role, but you’re welcome in the office!

You’ll be working on:

• Building clean, scalable Python code
• Backend systems and API integrations
• ELT pipelines and third-party data ingestion
• PostgreSQL, vector search, and structured data support for AI/LLM features
• Storage/query performance tuning

What you’ll bring:

• Strong Python and backend development skills
• Experience with relational + NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL / DynamoDB)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and schema-driven design
• Bonus: experience or interest in LLMs / AI / vector stores
