Responsibilities

  • Scope, plan, and manage complex fatigue analysis tasks with input from multiple stakeholders
  • Perform linear and non-linear static FEA using ANSYS
  • Conduct fatigue assessments in line with ASME BPV Section III
  • Execute detailed hand calculations (., bolt group calculations, thread stripping)
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • Essential skills

  • Demonstrable experience scoping, planning, and managing complex analysis work packages or tasks.

  • Practitioner-level ability in ANSYS for linear and non-linear static FEA.

  • Detailed knowledge and application of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section III.

  • Strong capability in hand calculations (bolt groups, thread stripping, .

  • Practitioner in fatigue analysis to ASME BPV Sec. III.
