We are seeking Senior Software Engineers (Java, UML) to design and implement components of a Software System for the defence industry. This project focuses on developing the front-end HMI for the product.

Responsibilities

  • Design software using UML (Enterprise Architect)
  • Implement designs in Java, with a focus on JavaFX for front-end development
  • Conduct peer reviews of designs and code to ensure quality
  • Develop and execute unit tests
  • Produce documentation and records for the system

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

  • Experience in HMI design, capturing and developing designs in UML (class, sequence diagrams)
  • Proficiency in Java and JavaFX
  • Domain experience in sonar and/or tactical/situational awareness
