We are seeking a QA Coordinator to support testing activities across delivery teams. This role is well suited to someone with testing experience, who enjoys working in Agile environments and contributing to the coordination and delivery of high‑quality software releases. This role combines hands‑on testing with coordination responsibilities, working closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to support structured and efficient QA delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities across projects and releases
  • Design and execute manual test cases to validate functionality and ensure quality standards
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including liaising with business stakeholders
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, validating request/response structures and data integrity
  • Execute SQL (T-SQL) queries to validate data and support backend testing activities
  • Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira
  • Work collaboratively within Agile teams, participating in ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Support test planning, estimation, and risk identification activities
  • Assist with maintaining test documentation, test cases, and reporting updates
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • ISTQB Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain)

Essential skills

  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and T‑SQL for data validation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving skills

Desired skills

  • Exposure to test automation concepts or frameworks
  • Understanding of non‑functional testing (e.g. performance, security, usability)
  • Awareness of modern QA practices, including shift‑left testing or CI/CD pipelines
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools to support testing activities

Experience

  • Experience in software testing or QA roles
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
  • Hands‑on experience with API testing (e.g. Postman)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar ALM tools (e.g. Jira)

The successful candidate will be based in Northern Ireland and able to attend our Belfast office 2–3 days per week as part of a hybrid working model.
