We are now seeking Systems Engineers to support the development of integrated Electronic Warfare (EW) and Survivability capabilities for the next generation of fast jets in support of a key client leading the integration of advanced EW capabilities.
This role offers an opportunity to influence future combat air capability through the development, integration and optimisation of advanced sensing architectures, supporting delivery across the full engineering lifecycle.
Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you will contribute to the delivery of next-generation survivability solutions that enable combat aircraft to operate effectively within increasingly complex threat environments.
You will support the development and integration of electronic warfare, self-protection and survivability capabilities that enhance mission success and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of Electronic Warfare and Survivability system requirements.
- Contribute to system architecture, capability decomposition and interface management activities.
- Support the integration of survivability capabilities within wider combat air architectures.
- Perform technical analysis, modelling and trade studies.
- Define verification and validation approaches for EW and survivability capabilities.
- Support laboratory, simulation and platform integration activities.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and engineering artefacts.
- Participate in design reviews and stakeholder engagements.
- Support programme technical governance and risk management activities.
- Work collaboratively with mission systems, sensing, software and platform engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related STEM discipline.
- Applications are also welcomed from individuals with significant demonstrable experience who don’t hold formal qualifications.
Professional registration or working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
