Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to supporting complex payments, banking and technology transformation initiatives.
This role requires a hands-on Business Analyst who can confidently bridge the gap between business and technology teams, drive complex change initiatives and work effectively within Agile delivery environments.
You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, contribute to strategic programmes and help shape innovative solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across complex payments and technology transformation initiatives.
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to support Agile delivery teams.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business, technical and third-party stakeholders to drive solution design and process improvement.
- Support strategic programmes including payment platform migrations, banking and payment provider integrations, payment processing enhancements, card payment capabilities and service expansion initiatives.
- Analyse current and future-state processes, identify opportunities for optimisation and contribute to delivering value-driven solutions.
- Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, manage challenging discussions and represent the business in engagements with external partners and suppliers.
- Contribute to successful project delivery through effective management of priorities, risks, dependencies and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex technology-focused projects.
- Strong technical delivery experience with the ability to understand integrations, systems and business processes.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Proven ability to write and refine user stories and requirements for technical delivery teams.
- Payments industry experience, including BACS, Faster Payments, CHAPS or card payments.
- Financial Services or Banking experience.
- Experience with payment platform migrations or banking integrations.
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP platforms.
