Overview
In line with Expleo's continued growth we are recruiting an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a proven track record of selling consulting (professional services) within the UK.
This is a full-time permanent role focused on developing and winning new business primarily based in London with regional travel when required.
You will Lead Expleo’s growth across banking, financial services and fintech by opening senior client relationships, winning new-logo business and expanding existing accounts into strategic consulting, quality engineering, digital transformation and managed services revenue.
Responsible for defining and delivering a focused sales strategy across banking, financial services and fintech, with priority emphasis on banks, payments organisations, lending platforms, wealth and asset management, financial market infrastructure and high-growth fintech businesses.
This is a senior, hands-on sales leadership role for someone who can personally originate, shape and close major opportunities while also bringing structure, discipline and momentum to the sector sales approach.
They will understand the commercial, regulatory and technology pressures shaping the sector, including customer experience, payments modernisation, platform change, data, AI, cybersecurity, financial crime, operational resilience and automation.

The role will build from an existing financial services footprint, strengthening current relationships while creating a more visible and compelling market proposition.
The individual must bring the energy of a hunter, the credibility of a senior advisor and the commercial judgement to turn access into qualified pipeline, proposals and closed revenue.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute a focused sales strategy for priority banking, financial services and fintech segments.
- Personally originate, pursue and win high-value new-logo opportunities while expanding strategic existing accounts.
- Convert current client relationships into broader consulting, quality engineering, digital transformation and managed services engagements.
- Build a qualified pipeline and create clear pursuit, stakeholder and closure plans for priority opportunities.
- Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to team performance through disciplined forecasting, coaching and continuous performance monitoring.
- Develop long-term relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-suite, business, operations, technology and transformation leaders.
- Position Expleo as a strategic partner by connecting client priorities to relevant consulting, quality engineering, digital, data, automation and managed services capability.
- Work with business development, delivery and solution teams to sharpen sector propositions, qualify opportunities and increase win probability.
- Leverage relevant regional and group capability to support growth in major UK and international financial services accounts.
- Represent Expleo externally through banking, payments, fintech and financial services networks, events, client forums and thought leadership activity.
- Lead, coach and develop sales colleagues, creating clear objectives and a high-performance culture.

Experience
- Successful senior sales experience in banking, financial services, payments, fintech, financial market infrastructure, consulting or a closely related technology-led professional-services environment.
- A strong senior network across banks, payments organisations, fintech platforms, wealth and asset managers, regulators or financial market infrastructure providers.
- Proven success in securing new accounts and expanding strategic clients at senior-management and executive level.
- Experience selling complex consulting, transformation, technology or managed services solutions into regulated financial services organisations.
- A track record of exceeding personal and team sales goals and managing a high-quality pipeline and forecast.
- Experience navigating complex and lengthy decision-making, procurement and sales processes.
- Experience leading sales professionals and creating a high-performance environment.
- Evidence of successfully managing and closing multi-million-pound or equivalent strategic deals.
- Strong understanding of financial services operating models, decision-making structures and transformation priorities.
- Working knowledge of sector themes including digital banking, payments, open banking, platform modernisation, data, AI assurance, cybersecurity, financial crime, regulatory change and operational resilience.
- Evidence of translating sector insight and relationships into qualified pipeline, compelling proposals and closed revenue.
- Able to spend significant time with clients and prospects in London and across the wider UK financial services market.
