Overview

Expleo is looking for an experienced PMO to provide support and light-touch Project Management across multiple workstreams, coordinating activities and providing governance, planning and reporting support to ensure projects are delivered effectively.

The role maintains controls, manages risks and dependencies, and enables informed decision-making across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain and report progress against an integrated delivery plan, including key milestones, decision points and stage gates.
  • Drive day-to-day delivery discipline across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Track milestones, dependencies and blockers.
  • Ensure clear routes to escalation where risks or delivery slippage require senior intervention.

• Maintain core programme controls, including

  • Action logs
  • Risk logs
  • Issue logs
  • Dependency logs
  • Decision logs
  • Ensure clear ownership and follow-up of actions.
  • Coordinate governance meetings.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and supporting documentation.
  • Capture minutes and actions.
  • Support project boards, leadership check-ins and working-level governance meetings where required.
  • Manage programme budgets and resource forecasts.
  • Track actual spend against planned expenditure.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify financial risks and opportunities.
  • Own monthly accruals.
  • Produce financial reports to support governance, decision-making and cost control.
  • Prepare reporting packs and meeting materials.
  • Produce progress tracking and RAG status reporting.
  • Support preparation of board papers.
  • Provide evidence of delivery against milestones.
  • Maintain document discipline and version control.
  • Support configuration management activities.
  • Ensure information is available for effective oversight, assurance and execution.

Qualifications

  • A relevant project management qualification is required.

Suitable credentials include PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, APM PMQ or MAPM.

In addition, Agile or Scrum certification is desirable, such as PSM, CSM or SAFe Agilist.

Essential skills

  • Proven ability to maintain integrated delivery plans, milestones, decision points and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong programme governance experience, including preparation of papers, packs, agendas, minutes, actions and RAG reporting.
  • Excellent RAID, dependency, decision and action management capability.
  • Strong attention to detail and document control discipline.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate risks, issues and key updates clearly and proactively.
  • Analytical capability to identify trends, risks, slippage and corrective actions using project data.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, resource plans, forecasting, financial reporting and variance analysis.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a PMO on complex, multi-workstream projects.
  • Experience delivering governance, planning, reporting, risk and dependency management, stakeholder engagement, resource tracking and financial management.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and project/reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Clarity, Clarizen or equivalent.
  • Experience working on regulatory change projects or programmes.
  • Experience in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Ability to coach colleagues in project frameworks and delivery best practices.
  • Ability to quickly understand new environments and contribute effectively.
