Overview

Expleo is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of strategic Claims and CRM transformation initiatives within a complex Agile environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions, working across multiple workstreams to analyse requirements, define functional solutions, and produce high-quality Agile delivery artefacts.

This role requires a strong blend of business analysis, systems analysis, and delivery support capabilities, with a particular focus on creating build-ready requirements that enable development teams to deliver efficiently and effectively.

Working closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, Test Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, and business stakeholders, the Business Analyst will contribute throughout the delivery lifecycle, from discovery and analysis through to implementation and post-release review.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes, systems, and requirements to identify improvement opportunities and support transformation initiatives.
  • Elicit, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements across multiple projects.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other delivery artefacts.
  • Perform current-state and future-state analysis, identifying gaps, impacts, dependencies, risks, and solution options.
  • Document business rules, workflows, process maps, data requirements, integrations, and functional designs.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and technical teams to define scalable and deliverable solutions.
  • Produce implementation-ready user stories and ensure backlog items meet the Definition of Ready.
  • Support Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and prioritisation.
  • Work closely with development and testing teams to clarify requirements, support solution delivery, UAT, defect resolution, and releases.
  • Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather requirements and drive consensus.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams, providing clear analysis and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

Essential skills

  • Strong systems analysis capability, including process flows, integrations, data mapping, and business rules analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
  • Proven ability to create build-ready requirements that enable development teams to deliver with minimal clarification.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to rapidly understand complex business processes and technology landscapes.
  • Proficiency with Agile delivery and collaboration tools such as Azure Dev Ops
  • Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced transformation programmes.

Experience

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within Agile software delivery environments.
  • Demonstrable experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Experience supporting multiple delivery workstreams and managing competing priorities.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and requirements elicitation sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
