Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the approval of Static Stress analyses in terms of timescale, cost and quality.
- Working with the relevant stakeholders as appropriate, to report on the technical progress of tasks.
- Coaching and mentoring more junior stress engineers.
- Identification of potential variations to work scope, or rework at an early stage and escalation to the technical lead.
- Ensure the adherence to the Company's Quality Assurance Policies in any work undertaken on the project.
- Responsibility for approving delivery of Aerostructures engineering Static Stress analyses on time and quality.
- To achieve this, you will work in teams of engineers to ensure the requirement is delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Essential skills
- Airbus Static Stress Approval, Stress Analysis (Static, Patran, Nastran, Hypermesh) Metallic and Composites considered.

- Extensive experience in aerostructures Static Stress analysis experience.
