Expleo is recruiting a Systems Integration Engineer to support our customers with the diagnosis and resolution of software and systems issues during the development phase of an automotive vehicle platform. This role is based in Warwickshire and offered on a 12-month initial contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the investigation and diagnosis of software and systems issues during vehicle development.
- Evaluate and determine the urgency of issues during initial triage to support effective prioritization.
- Ensure accurate and complete data capture to support high-quality issue tracking and reporting.
- Maintain and update key testing assets to support replication and resolution of complex issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure issues are clearly understood and appropriately prioritized.
- Assist in identifying ownership and accountability for issue resolution across relevant teams.
- Support testing and validation of complex systems and features to aid in issue resolution.
Skills Required:
- Strong technical background with proven knowledge of electrical & software engineering.
- Knowledge of components and software systems including architectures and integrated software solutions.
- Understanding of design principles and the application of quality tools.
- Able to prioritise workload and lead issue resolution (with support) either individually or as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels within the business.
- Knowledge of problem-solving and quality tools.
- Highly self-motivated and able to act on initiative.
Education:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
