Expleo is currently recruiting for an experienced R&D Engineer to join our customer based in Warwickshire on a contract basis until the end of March, with a strong possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineering professional to work on innovative product and technology development within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Rate: £33.88 per hour (Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for improving and developing new products, components, and technologies, including:
  • Ensuring research and design methodologies meet established scientific and engineering standards
  • Supporting the development of business plans and budgets for new products
  • Analysing quality and safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards
  • Keeping up to date with industry developments and translating insights into viable engineering solutions
  • Delivering technical presentations to customers and industry stakeholders
  • Monitoring project outcomes to ensure delivery against technical, functional, cost, and timing targets
  • Supporting (where applicable) product regulatory approval processes
About the Role

This is a Specialist Professional level role, suited to a recognised subject matter expert with strong technical knowledge and experience.

You will also:

  • Manage complex projects or processes with minimal supervision
  • Coach and support junior engineers
  • Tackle challenging and often complex engineering problems
