Expleo is seeking a highly skilled SUMS Pack Deployment and Compatibility Operational Test Engineer in Gaydon, Warwickshire, on an Inside IR35 contract basis. This is a workshop-based role focused on updating current production and engineering vehicles to the latest software packs, ensuring readiness for SOTA and integration testing. You will be working on cutting-edge automotive technology in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical systems (engine, chassis, etc.)
- Perform software updates and validation testing
- Conduct service, diagnostics, and repair operations on current vehicles
- Provide technical feedback to support subsystem development
- Prepare, fit, and remove test components
- Assemble and replace systems/components
- Manufacture and modify electrical harnesses
- Trace, rectify, and validate faults using diagnostic tools
- Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with engineering teams
- Engineer bespoke solutions to overcome technical challenges
What We’re Looking For:
- Advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools
