Expleo is looking for a passionate and influential Lead Requirements Engineer to support our customer in the Midlands on an initial 12-month contract. This role sits within the Vehicle Efficiency team, with a focus on electrical efficiency across all powertrain variants.
We\βre seeking someone who can champion the customer perspective, translate needs into robust engineering requirements, and drive alignment across engineering functions. While deep technical expertise in efficiency is not essential, strong systems thinking and stakeholder engagement are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate electrical power targets into clear, actionable engineering requirements
- Maintain ownership throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring traceability and compliance
- Develop and maintain test cases to validate requirements
- Ensure alignment with validation and testing teams
- Act as the primary liaison for electrical efficiency across engineering functions
- Ensure consistent understanding and implementation of requirements
- Track and assess the impact of changes on current and future vehicle programs
- Lead updates to requirements and communicate changes effectively

- Proven experience in writing and managing technical requirements
