Site based Junior Project Manager to be part of a team responsible for provision of the project management activities covering the delivery and installation of production equipment into the UK, which is then installed by a third party contractor.
Responsibilities
- Primarily to work alongside our lead to ensure that project milestones and targets are achieved (Install dates) to client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- HNC-Degree level preferred in an Engineering subject.
Essential skills
- Background in Project management to deliver project in line with client goals and milestones.
- Experience of stakeholder engagement at all levels including client, 3rd party suppliers/contractors.
- Liaise with all stakeholders on project process and planning including development and maintenance of project plans.
- Attention to Detail.
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise or predicted.
- Able to communicate effectively with multi-site Teams/Relationship Building across all stakeholders.
Desired skills
- Automotive or Tier 1 supplier knowledge.
- An engineering background (ideally Facility engineering).
- Experience of Installation/commissioning of new manufacturing cells/lines into a manufacturing facility in a fast paced/high technology environment.
