Expleo is looking for a passionate and skilled Automotive Project Engineer to support one of our prestigious automotive clients in Warwickshire, on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the identification, tracking and resolution of integration issues across complex systems. Whilst the role demands a high level of technical understanding, it is not hands‑on in nature. The successful candidate will ensure consistent adherence to established processes, effective utilisation of issue management tools, and clear and transparent reporting to senior stakeholders.
The key aspects of this role involve the ability to drive actions based on clear KPIs around defect management with stakeholders across the company. Strong skills in developing metrics, dashboards and professional presentations are essential.
Skills and Background required for the Automotive Project Engineer position:
- Strong knowledge of issue and defect management processes and tools.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques and problem‑solving methodologies.
- Ability to develop, interpret, and present metrics, KPIs and performance dashboards.
