One of the world\’s largest automotive manufacturers, is currently recruiting for an Automotive Human Factors Engineer, to help them develop unique and innovative automotive products. The purpose of this role is to deliver customer requirements for future vehicles. Based in Warwickshire, you will be supporting, a dedicated and enthusiastic Human Factors Ergonomics team, on a contract basis. Responsibilities of the Human Factors Engineer include: Lead development of Human Factors requirements, Lead Human Factors input into the development of future vehicles and brands Lead the timely completion of Human Factors assessments &/or gateway testing Support collaboration with colleagues to resolve ergonomic related issues on our vehicles Analyse customer feedback relating to ergonomics, supporting requirement development and issue resolution Qualifications and skills required for the Human Factors Engineer position: Degree in a relevant subject matter or equivalent industry experience Strong background in Automotive human factors and / or ergonomics is essential Ability to analyse technical data and customer feedback to support Ergonomics development Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy or anthropometrics Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering is desirable ** PLEASE NOTE ** To meet with current legislation, right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates can work in the UK.
