Expleo is proud to be supporting a leading automotive manufacturer in delivering excellence across their vehicle lines. We are currently looking for an Infotainment Test Engineer to be responsible for the hands-on testing of automotive infotainment systems. This contract role will be supporting our client based in Warwickshire.
The Infotainment Test Engineer will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of test programmes, ensuring results are achieved through thorough validation and effective problem-solving.
- Planning and executing comprehensive testing of infotainment systems, with a focus on active NVH technologies.
- Ensuring all testing activities comply with automotive quality standards and technical specifications.
- Identifying performance issues across systems and subsystems and proactively driving enhancements.
- Developing and implementing test specifications for both new and existing infotainment components.
- Setting up, managing, and maintaining test rigs and environments for infotainment and audio system evaluation.
Essential background and skills of the Infotainment Test Engineer:
- Extensive experience in testing automotive infotainment systems, with a strong preference for exposure to active NVH technologies.
- Highly execution-driven, capable of independently managing and delivering complex test programmes from planning through validation.
- Skilled in debugging and analytical techniques, with a keen eye for identifying and resolving system-level issues.
- Hands-on expertise with audio systems, including rig setup and configuration for validation and performance testing.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
