Are you a Vehicle Technician looking for your next opportunity? One of the world's largest automotive manufacturers is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician. You will be responsible for the inspection and preparation of prototype vehicles ready for user evaluation, and subsequent electrical and mechanical rectification, maintenance and updating of the vehicles. Based in Warwickshire, you will be supporting a dedicated and enthusiastic team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician will include:

  • Identify and clearly report major and minor build or quality issues during inspections and assessments.
  • Apply workshop and safety procedures correctly at all times.
  • Assemble, repair, and replace electrical and mechanical systems as required.

Qualifications and skills required for the Vehicle Technician position:

  • Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Automotive Electrical or Mechanical disciplines or completed a relevant apprenticeship.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle electrical and mechanical assembly and repair.
  • Knowledge of vehicle servicing and maintenance.
  • Able to diagnose and solve electrical and mechanical faults using appropriate tools and methods.
