We are seeking a Logistics Strategic Studies Engineer to join a leading automotive organisation in Solihull. Working closely with the Logistics Strategic Programmes Lead, you will provide critical data analysis, impact assessments, and programme coordination activities, helping to shape logistics strategies across multiple UK manufacturing sites.

This role offers the chance to work within a highly collaborative environment, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across Logistics, Supply Chain, Technology, Manufacturing, and Programme teams. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond, it's a challenge that will help your career grow within an iconic organisation.

  • Act as the day-to-day contact in GME Logistics for all programme activity in the strategy phase
  • Capture all part complexity, type, sequencing assumptions and m3 data from Supply Chain and programme teams and summarise latest part fit point and packaging proposals.
  • Prepare all Intra-Logistics strategic impact assessments for programme studies as requested by the Industrial Operations Strategy (IOS) team
  • Prepare all Intra-Logistics gateway submissions for the Industrial Operations Programme Delivery (IOPD) team from to gateways
  • Experience working in a project or programme environment
  • Ability to collate, analyse and present complex data
  • Understanding of planning, monitoring and risk-awareness principles
