We are seeking a talented Software and Diagnostics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Warwick. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development, testing, and validation of advanced diagnostic tools that support our engineering platforms. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of our diagnostic solutions, helping to shape the future of vehicle diagnostics. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our diagnostic toolset.
- Test diagnostic functionalities and software releases to ensure robust performance.
- Support the creation and validation of future diagnostic tools and workflows.
- Analyse diagnostic data to identify and implement improvements.
- Carry out on-vehicle validation of diagnostic functions.
- Collaborate with Integration, Engineering, and Aftersales teams to resolve diagnostic-related issues.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong experience with Java, VB.NET and/or C#.
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics standards (UDS, CAN, DoIP, ODX).
- Hands-on software development experience.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
- Proficient in Git or other version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Desirable:
- Prior experience working with diagnostic tools at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
