The IVVQ Engineer is responsible for working with stakeholders to deliver customer equipment that meet integration requirements, verification, validation and qualification of products, systems or components. This may require working with hardware, software or firmware.
This Systems Engineering (IVVQ) vacancy presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop and grow their skills and knowledge within a thriving organisation. The job holder will be engaged in a wide variety of Systems Engineering activities covering the entire engineering lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Planning, development, execution, and reporting of Integration, System Integration Testing 1 (SIT1), and System Integration Testing 2 (SIT2) test activities.
- Supporting internal system validation and external customer acceptance across the development lifecycle.
- Developing and maintaining test specifications and descriptions aligned with system requirements.
- Executing functional and non-functional testing, including system performance, robustness, and end-to-end verification.
- Tracking and resolving defects in collaboration with development teams.
- Supporting customer Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and contributing to readiness of pre-production and production deployments.
- Reporting progress and test results to stakeholders and adapting test approaches as required.
- Ensuring traceability and coverage of system requirements throughout the test lifecycle.
- Working within UK government frameworks, supporting high-security system delivery.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering discipline.
- Systems Engineering: Requirements and Use Case analysis.
- Test Plan authoring.
- Verification & Validation Testing.

- Authoring Integration and Validation Reports.
- Writing and updating VVRM.
- Generate test reports.
- SAT Testing Experience supporting test campaigns.

- Organise and plan, monitor and support design engineering multidisciplinary activities.
- Organise, monitor and support engineering for complex systems.
- System architecture design and functional modelling.
- Performance assessment and systems behaviour analysis.
- Verification, Validation and Certification.
- Speed gate experience highly desirable.
- Experience working with a BOM.
- An understanding of Software and hardware V&V testing.
- Extensive engineering experience.
- Demonstrable experience in a Principal IVVQ role.
