This is a high-impact role where you will leverage your expertise in CAD designs to support Vehicle Engineering within Chassis and Powertrain. If you are passionate about design integration and working with cross-functional teams, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities
- Package Electric Vehicle components into the client chassis in conjunction with powertrain teams.
- Liaise with client Design Teams to ensure XB Electric Vehicle components are packaged effectively.
- Design High Voltage Wiring Routing Concepts between components for the DAF XB.
- Design Low Voltage Wiring Routing Concepts between components for the DAF XB.
- Design Electric Vehicle Coolant Piping Concepts for the DAF XB.
- Work with all associated departments within purchasing, manufacturing, and quality to determine quality, cost, sourcing, and manufacturing impacts for the associated design solutions.
- Identify and agree on design risks and mitigation activities where necessary.
Qualifications
- Degree in relevant engineering subject.
Essential Skills
- Familiarity with Creo design package.
- Design experience within an automotive field.
