Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop and review requirements and control functions for body and HVAC domains.
- Implement control functions in MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow.
- Conduct SW unit testing using MIL and SIL techniques using Simulink Test.
- Support HIL testing of SW components.
- Support vehicle software testing and calibration.
- SW components verification & validation against requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree (BEng / MEng) in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering or closely related discipline.
Essential Skills
- Model-based automotive embedded control software development and verification using MATLAB Simulink.
- Verification testing in MIL and SIL environments.
- AUTOSAR software components generation and integration.
- Compliance to industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
- Desired Skills
- Knowledge of Euro7 emission legislation and its software/control implications.
Experience
- Working knowledge of the Systems Engineering V-model
- Experience within different automotive network standards and the associated tools . E. g., CANbus and CANalyser, or Automotive ethernet and CANape .
- Experience in application of MBSE tools and techniques including UML or Sys ML and associated software e. g., Simulink
- Experience in software development using embedded C.
- Working knowledge of Auto SAR principles and application.
- Working knowledge of the Vector SLP11 stack.
- Knowledge of the V&V automotive cycle with experience of Unit Test, SIL, MIL and HIL Testing.
- Experience in the automotive sector, including understanding of V-cycle software development methodology.
- Experience working directly with an OEM or Tier 1.
