We are seeking an experienced System Integration & Test Engineer to join a leading automotive engineering team based in Gaydon. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge Interior Experience features, supporting the verification and validation of innovative vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create manual and automated feature-level and system-level test cases based on feature and system documentation.
- Ensure appropriate test techniques are applied and that all test cases are robust, comprehensive, and meet quality standards.
- Execute feature-level testing on vehicles and system-level testing using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Vehicle-in-the-Loop (ViL) environments.
- Produce detailed test execution reports and provide clear feedback on results.
- Support defect management activities, including issue investigation and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with System Engineers and System Leads to ensure requirements are testable and fully traceable to test cases.
- Contribute to verification and validation activities throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Automotive System Integration and Integration Testing.
- Strong understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model, with hands-on experience in requirements-based testing, verification, and validation.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes, tools, and best practices.
- Experience building and working with simulation environments within the automotive industry, including: dSPACE Simulink.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured engineering approach.
