Join our dynamic Engineering Integration team as a Lead Project Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the durability, robustness, and towing experience of world-class vehicles. About the Role
As a Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing vehicle or technology programmes from concept to delivery. You’ll lead the development and integration of customer-focused attributes, ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards of performance and reliability across global markets. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and validate engineering solutions, using a blend of virtual tools, physical testing, and data analysis. Your work will directly influence the customer experience and contribute to the long-term success of our vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage vehicle or technology projects across the full development lifecycle.
- Develop and execute detailed strategies and delivery plans using CAE, RLD, rig, and driven DV activities.
- Collaborate with system and component teams to define and maintain cascaded target requirements.
- Drive resolution of engineering challenges with internal teams and suppliers.
- Conduct benchmarking and research to identify best practices and future trends.
- Deliver technical recommendations, reports, and innovative solutions.
- Support programme teams in identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Share knowledge and foster innovation within a collaborative team environment.
