Expleo is proud to be supporting a leading automotive manufacturer in delivering excellence across their vehicle lines. Were currently looking for an Infotainment Test Engineer to be responsible for the hands-on testing of automotive infotainment systems. This contract role will be supporting our client based in Warwickshire.
The Infotainment Test Engineer will be responsible for:
Leading the delivery of test programmes, ensuring results are achieved through thorough validation and effective problem-solving.
Planning and executing comprehensive testing of infotainment systems, with a focus on active NVH technologies.
Ensuring all testing activities comply with automotive quality standards and technical specifications.
Identifying performance issues across systems and subsystems and proactively drive enhancements.
Developing and implement test specifications for both new and existing infotainment components.
Setting up, managing, and maintaining of test rigs and environments for infotainment and audio system evaluation.
Essential background and skills of the Infotainment Test Engineer:
Extensive experience in testing automotive infotainment systems, with a strong preference for exposure to active NVH technologies.
Highly execution-driven, capable of independently managing and delivering complex test programmes from planning through validation
Skilled in debugging and analytical techniques, with a keen eye for identifying and resolving system-level issues
Hands-on expertise with audio systems, including rig setup and configuration for validation and performance testing
Bachelors degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field
